Mission/Vision
Congregations of Shaare Shamayim is a Conservative synagogue serving Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Northeast Philadelphia. We are a warm and vibrant synagogue creatively engaging our community of Jewish living, learning, and prayer. Our goal is to promote and strengthen our community through our members' active participation in lifelong learning, holiday celebrations, social action, and the life of the synagogue.
For over 50 years, we have respected tradition while continuously innovating to be meaningful to our congregants' lives. Encouraging a variety of styles and settings for religious practice, we offer several service options including a Conservative Egalitarian and a Conservative Traditional service.
Known citywide for our creative approach to religious education, we build powerful, lifelong Jewish memories for our children. Shaare Shamayim is a place where you can grow your knowledge of Judaism and broaden your connection to God, Mitzvot, the study of Torah, and your heritage.
Shaare Shamayim is more than a synagogue...we are a community where you feel you belong, and are with others just like you. We are a center for celebrating, growing, and connecting to your Judaism.
Congregations of Shaare Shamayim is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
