For Young Families

The foundation of a child's Jewish identity begins in early childhood.  Congregations of Shaare Shamayim has developed creative programs for families with young children to start a lifelong relationship with Judaism.  We offer regular opportunities to connect and form communities that experience the joy and richness of being Jewish.

In addition to our robust programs specifically for young families, our multi-generational congregation is a cheerful and enriching bridge between our past and our future.  Generations come together to share stories, experiences, and learn from one another.

Upcoming Young Families Events:

Israel Scouts Friendship Caravan
Thursday, August 10 • 5:30pm: Dinner, 7pm: Performance
Join us for the Israel Scouts Friendship Caravan, a family and kid-friendly music and dance performance with great audience participation.  The performance at 7pm is free and open to the public.  There will be a "Pay As You Wish" pasta dinner at 5:30pm before the performance.  Registration for the dinner is required.  Please contact the office to RSVP.
