For Young Families

The foundation of a child's Jewish identity begins in early childhood.  Congregations of Shaare Shamayim has developed creative programs for families with young children to start a lifelong relationship with Judaism.  We offer regular opportunities to connect and form communities that experience the joy and richness of being Jewish.

In addition to our robust programs specifically for young families, our multi-generational congregation is a cheerful and enriching bridge between our past and our future.  Generations come together to share stories, experiences, and learn from one another.

Tot Shabbat
Friday, March 31 at 4:30PM
Join us for a Passover themed Tot Shabbat.  Experience Passover, make Matzoh, and more.  Includes dinner.  No charge.

Mommy/Daddy and Me
Sunday, April 2 • 11am-11:45am
Join us for parachute, songs, story time, lap rides, and more.  Cost is $3 per child for members, and $5 per child for non-members.  Afterward, we will enjoy a dairy lunch for an additional $3 per person.  Recommended for ages 1 to 3.5.  Please RSVP by calling the office.
