Our program is committed to providing a highly regarded educational foundation while combining life skills and values to ensure a smooth, easy, and successful transition to elementary school. Our program emphasizes the development of the “whole child” by recognizing the need for allowing each child to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically at their own pace. We encourage the development of life skills such as sharing, personal responsibility, positive interactions, respecting rights of others, and conflict resolution, which are formed and developed during these years. We are instilling valuable Jewish values as we teach our children that they can help to heal the world one good deed at a time. Our goal is to accomplish all of the above in a warm, supportive, accepting, safe, nurturing, and stimulating educational environment. Our staff of dedicated and experienced teaching professionals has been carefully selected to meet the individual needs of young children. The Cardonick Preschool and Kindergarten of The Congregations of Shaare Shamayim is committed to instilling in our children that learning is fun and it happens in our school every day!!!! |

The children were asked to spend a minimum of 15 minutes a day reading whatever book they select. The children were given Phanatic coloring sheets to color in once they have attained their goal. To qualify for a Phanatic visit, children reported their progress to their teachers, Mrs. Fran Sannutti and Mrs. Mira Klein, who in turn told the Phillies how the children were progressing with their reading endeavors. From that progress report, our school was selected for a “Special Visitor: The Phillie Phanatic made a special visit to our top performing school. Over 40,000 children participate in this program yearly. Great work Kindergarten!! |
